  • 2-4 tablespoons honey or maple syrup to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Pinch of ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Strawberries:

  • Wash the strawberries under cold water and remove the stems.
  • Slice the strawberries into smaller pieces for easier blending.

Blend the Ingredients:

  • In a blender, combine the sliced strawberries, plain yogurt (or dairy-free alternative), honey or maple syrup, ground cardamom, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground nutmeg, ground black pepper, and ice cubes.
  • Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy, about 1-2 minutes.
  • For a creamier texture, you can use Greek yogurt instead of regular yogurt.
  • To make the lassi dairy-free, use coconut yogurt or almond milk yogurt instead of dairy yogurt.

Taste and Adjust:

  • Taste the strawberry lassi and adjust the sweetness according to your preference by adding more honey or maple syrup if needed.
  • Adjust the sweetness of the lassi based on the ripeness of the strawberries. Riper strawberries may require less sweetener.
