Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe mangoes peeled and diced (or 2 cups canned mango pulp)
  • 1 cup plain yogurt or dairy-free alternative
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • A pinch of saffron strands optional, for garnish
  • Ice cubes optional
  • Crushed or sliced pistachios or almonds for garnish
  • Rose syrup for flavor and color
  • Fennel seeds [optional]

Instructions
 

Prepare the Mangoes:

  • Peel and dice the ripe mangoes. If using canned mango pulp, measure out 2 cups.

Blend the Ingredients:

  • In a blender, combine the diced mangoes, plain yogurt, sugar or honey or maple syrup, ground cardamom, ice cubes, fennel seeds [optional], and a splash of rose syrup. Blend until smooth and creamy.

Adjust Sweetness:

  • Taste the lassi and adjust sweetness according to your preference by adding more sugar, honey, or maple syrup if needed.

Serve Chilled:

  • Pour the Mango Lassi into glasses over ice cubes.
